This emergency callout to Glade Primary School in Ilford brought back many memories as this was the primary school I attended as a child.
We were called out to investigate loss of power to the school kitchen equipment, which was making it impossible to ignite the gas ovens and hobs, leaving the school unable to cater for the pupils.
Our investigative tests quickly revealed that the kitchen supply fan controller was faulty. Without delay, we ordered a new unit and came back the next day to fit and test it.
With power restored, the school was able to get its catering back up and running. Happy school, happy pupils.
