We’ve been working on a VOSA approved Tachograph lane for a local garage. Here’s what this specialist commercial electrical installation involved:
- New 100 amp 3 supply wired in 25mm steel wire armoured cable
- 3 phase and single phase steel wire armoured cables for the compressor with 32 Amp weatherproof isolators fitted and the cable cleated along the wall
We liaised with the rolling road installers and installed a new 63 amp 3 phase supply. A 20 Amp 3 phase supply for the vehicle lift was also supplied. Both were wired in steel wire armoured cable.
Additional low level LED lighting was also installed. We used 140 Watt Thorlux fittings and a 20mm galvanised conduit system for the cabling. Two twin emergency spotlights were installed with an emergency key test switch fitted. This in addition to the existing emergency lights wired in FP200 cable.
Quite a job! Obviously important to have specialist knowledge of this type of installation. Photos to follow.
